I need your help.
Hello Tumblr,
I recently was struck with an epiphany last night, and if you’ll hear me out, I’ll pull an Alexander Hamilton on today’s public.
Let’s rewind to the Revolutionary War. America is fighting for independence, and the Continental Congress is doing it’s best to adhere to the people’s wants and needs. Then, a man named Alexander Hamilton came along. He and two others (James Madison and John Jay) wrote a series of essays entitled the Federalist Papers to defend the Constitution to the public and boost the country’s morale.
Fast forward to present. The country is struggling with FCC chairman Ajit Pai’s December rule against 2015 net neutrality rules established by Senator Wheeler. Yesterday, those rules were officially repealed and net neutrality breathed its last breath. I intend to do what Alexander did.
With your help, I want to write a series of essays entitled The Creator’s Pamphlets and publish them to the public. Then, once they’re everywhere in the country, I want to send them directly to Congress. But I can’t do it alone.
Over the course of the coming summer, I want to write 15 essays defending net neutrality. Dubbed The Creators Pamphlets, I need help in interviews, videos, and public speeches aimed towards the public. I know its only a few days until the biggest corporations in the country stamp out our freedom, but what I’m getting at is.. I need your help to change the course of history.
